New parking option at Paphos

Reservation problems on website

Airport Parking Site are currently experiencing technical difficulties when a customer is making a payment on our site. We are working to resolve this and expect it to be address shortly. For those of you who wish to book parking at any of the airports we have options at, I would suggest to try again in a few hours when these issues have been dealt with. Saving some trees!

In response to user feedback, we’ve made some changes to our booking vouchers.

Previously, when airport parking confirmation emails were sent out, our terms and conditions were included in the main text of the email. This meant that when customers printed their booking voucher they ended up with several pages. From now on, when a booking is made the terms and conditions will be included in a separate document, which doesn’t have to be printed. This should reduce 5 printed pages to 1, saving electricity, trees and expensive printer ink in the process!

Some technical issues

This morning we experienced some technically issues which affected the payment facility on our website. Some customers advised that they were unable to book their parking reservations. This was due to an update our ISP implemented, but everything is resolved now and you can book on www.airportparkingsite.ie.

Support for more payment options

We try to make life easier for our customers, especially when it comes to payment methods. We’ve offered credit card payments (Mastercard and Visa) since launching, and last year we added debit cards like Laser in Ireland and Maestro in the UK.

This is an area we’re continually improving and in the last couple of weeks we’ve integrated with some new internet payment providers, including:

Google Checkout
PayPal

AlertPay

A few more are in the works, but if you have an account somewhere that you’re keen to use, please let us know and we’ll see what we can do!

Enhanced directions and maps

As a direct result of user feedback, we’ve begun working with the car parks we list to provide better directions and maps with bookings. From now on when you make a booking at www.airportparkingsite.ie or www.airportparkingsite.co.uk you will receive with your booking voucher more detailed instructions for getting to your chosen site.

We’ll be rolling out more maps over the next few weeks but if there are any sites you would like improved information on straight away, please don’t hesitate to contact us – you can do this in a variety of ways:

Park and Fly Bristol under new management

Park and Fly Bristol have been recently taken over by the car park operator WCP, who already run the largest off-site car parking facility at Bristol Airport and offer a fast and efficient service. With over 1200 hundred available spaces they have a large capacity and advertise some of the best prices around.

If you have an existing booking with Park and Fly Bristol, you will be contacted to advise of this change and also provide new confirmation details. If you need to contact us for any reason due to this change. please telephone or send an email to support@airportparkingsite.co.uk.

Volcanic Ash Update

We are aware that the current disruption to flights caused by the Icelandic volcano eruption may have affected your travel plans, and therefore you may need to amend or extend your parking reservation booked through our website.

As you might expect we have a large volume of enquiries and are endeavouring to deal with each enquiry individually. In the meantime we’d like to clarify how we are dealing with the various scenarios that our customers are experiencing:

Stranded abroad
There should be no problem extending your reservation. Any extra charges are at the discretion of the car park operator.

Have a reservation but may need to cancel
This will be subject to our normal cancellation policy, details of which can be found at our website.

Have already sent a cancellation / amendment request
We are currently processing all requests. If you have already sent an email or request and have not yet received a response, please be patient and we will get back to you.

Ash Thursday (and Friday…)
